The intention today was to do the parkrun route around Rondebosch Common (5km) and then walk to M’s house (total around 8km). What can I say. It was chilly. Rain was threatening and it started to drizzle. We were not in the mood. So we walked around the common once, and then drove to M! While we were driving, she was texting us saying “abandon the walk, it’s raining too much” and then we turned up on the doorstep for coffee. What can I say? At least we got up off the couch.
