Vineyard Stroll

On Monday I had coffee with a friend from Germany, in SA on holiday. She mentioned wanting to go for a walk in the vineyards, so we decided today was the day. We met at 7am because we all know that I am allergic to the sun!! Groot Constantia is a lovely venue to walk in the vineyards and it gives you quite a few route options.

Despite looking flat, the few rises definitely raised my heart rate.
The dam looked awesome, complete with ducks to make our day.
As usual I took photos of plants I would like in my own garden.

I would definitely recommend Groot Constantia for walks. You can park at High Constantia where the coffee shops are, and walk in, or you can drive to Simons and start walking from there. I suggest you start walking early, as there is no shade.
