We walked from Wharf Street in Simonstown to Castle Rock and finally M had something to overcome today! And just when we were thinking she was superhuman and had not issues!! Baboons.
Starting in Wharf Street, we walked to Boulders and along the penguin walk.

Then we were heading out of Simonstown to conquer a few hills! We had an opportunity, due to the lighting, to take some arty photographs.

And then we encountered the baboon sign! Apparently M is not fond of baboons, for no rational reason other than that they are baboons! It’s always interesting to find out these things about people.

And we walked, and walked up a slow incline.

And below is F’s face as she realised this was not the place we parked the second car! Nope, there was another corner, and another hill….

And finally we made it to the car! You can’t tell from the picture, but these two are moving fast now – seeing the car must have given them some extra energy!

And thus ended 9km of walk, a lot of it uphill. We learnt (again) that walking uphill does not kill us.
